The Wizard(R) Plus SV Minipreps DNA Purification System, a silica membrane-based system, provides a simple an reliable method for rapid isolation of plasmid DNA. The entire mimiprep procedure can be complted in 45 minutes or less, depending on the number of samples processed. Using the system, plasmid DNA can be purified from 1-10ml of overnight E.Coli culture. The purified plasmid DNA can be used directly for automated flouroscent BigDye(R) terminator sequencing as well as for the other standard molecular transcription reactions when suplemented with a ribonuclese inhibitor such as Recombinant RNasin(R) Ribonuclease Inhibitor (Cat# N2511).
